How to find specific webpage data in Google Analytics 4

With the introduction of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), many different reporting features of Google Analytics have been moved around. One of the most common use cases for GA4 is to find performance data on a specific page. Say for instance you are running a digital campaign that points to single landing page on the site. How can you quickly see a view that shows all performance data for only that page?

Homepage view of Google Analytics 4, while hovering over the sidebar menu.

Here we have a sample property in GA4, looking at the “Home” view. If you hover over the sidebar, you will see a few options. Click on “Reports” to see more in-depth information about your website.

Next you’ll see a sub-navigation column with more options. Highlighted is the “pages and screens” view which is what we want to click on.

Now we have navigated to the reporting view that will allow us to look at individual page data. Depending on the number of pages your website has, you may be able to see the data at a glance for the page you are looking for, such as “experience” in the screenshot above. If you want to search for a specific page, you can paste the unique part of the URL (anything after the backslash, or '“/”) in the search box.

As you can see in the screenshot above, I’ve pasted “/experience” into the box, which has now filtered the list of pages to only show pages that include that URL component. You can apply this to any individual page on your site, or a subset of pages, such as blog posts. I hope this has been helpful, and if you have any questions feel free to get in touch!
